REFUND & RETURN POLICY

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If there is any problem with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items — Right of Withdrawal

All original paintings at BETSY-ART GALLERY are painted individually to order.
 
All prints are produced on demand at the time of purchase.
 In accordance with Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU,
 the right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period) does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (a prints produced on demand and a paintings made to order)
 
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that your right of withdrawal is waived once production has begun.

Order Cancellations:

Cancellation requests must be submitted within 6 hours of placing your order (for prints) or within 24 hours for original paintings, before the painting process begins. 
Once production has started, cancellations are no longer possible.

Returns & Replacements — Damaged or Lost Orders

We take great care in packaging every artwork.
 However, if your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to notify us. 

To be eligible:

Contact us at: canvas.wallart@outlook.com 
within 14 days of receiving your order ( for prints produced on demand)
and  within 48 hours of receiving your order ( for original paintings).

Provide clear photographs of the damage (artwork and packaging)
We will gladly arrange a replacement or refund for prints.

For Original paintings:
We will offer either a replacement (if possible) or a full refund (In both cases, the painting must be returned).

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving your return or confirming the issue. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

NOTES for Original Paintings:

Inspection of Oil Paintings

Oil paintings should be inspected within 7 days of delivery.
If any major issue is discovered, please contact us within this period so we can assist you.

Original paintings cannot remain rolled up for extended periods of time. Therefore, they must be unpacked and inspected within 7 days of receiving the package.

If an oil painting is not unpacked within 7 days, the buyer assumes full responsibility for its condition thereafter, and no claims or complaints will be accepted. The buyer is informed of this policy at the time of shipment.

If you will not be home to receive the package or expect to be away for an extended period of time, please let me know in advance, and I will ship the painting later, once you have returned home.


Return Conditions

If a return is required due to damage or a verified issue:

the item must be returned in its original packaging

the item must be unused and in the same condition as received

Return shipping costs for original paintings are the responsibility of the buyer.


Non-Returnable Situations:

Original paintings are unique works of art and therefore cannot be returned for preference reasons.

Minor colour variations due to screen calibration differences

Returns or refunds are not available in the following cases:

Change of mind (all items are made to order)

Incorrect size or style chosen by the buyer
Size variations within standard tolerances

Incorrect shipping address provided by the buyer

Damage caused during unpacking or handling after delivery

If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we will gladly reship the item once the correct address is confirmed.
The buyer bears additional costs for re-shipping the order.

Delivery Issues

If tracking shows that an item was delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check with neighbors or your local postal carrier. Sometimes parcels are left in a safe location nearby.

If the issue cannot be resolved, please contact us and we will help investigate the situation.

This policy is governed by the laws of France and complies with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
